Thank you for your interest in Howard University Graduate Programs. Before your visit please contact the

  • Talk to the Director of Graduate Studies and a professor in your chosen field
    Contact information for each Graduate School department as well as links to their websites can be found on the Graduate School website at www.gs.howard.edu
    Sit in on a class of a subject that interests you.
  • Take a campus tour.
    • Campus tours are by appointment with a minimum of fourteen days advance notice preferred.
    • Tours are conducted Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
    • To schedule a campus tour contact the Office of Student Recruitment via e-mail at campustour@howard.edu or call (202) 806-2755 or 800-822-6363 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. eastern time.
    • Walking tours of the University's main campus are led by a Student Ambassador. The walking tour includes visits to academic buildings, a library, and a dormitory.

  • Visit the Office of Retention, Mentoring and Support programs
