AGEP Scholar Program Application Form [Download]

  • Students applying for the Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in a science, mathematics, or engineering department within the Howard University Graduate School or the University of Texas at El Paso. (Applicants applying solely for M.D. programs are not accepted).

  • Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 at the baccalaureate level or 3.5 cumulative GPA at the master's level.

  • Students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents

  • Students who are African American, Latino, or Native American

  • Students who desire to teach at the college or university level

Preference will be given to graduates who have attended Howard University, the University of Texas at El Paso or one of partner institutions.
