Retreat Goals
To build community within HU and UTEP students
To enhance students' oral and written communication skills
To increase students' understanding of the roles and responsibilities of being a graduate student
To enhance students' awareness of their career goals and objectives
Retreat Objectives
Students will engage in team building activities to enhance their professional and social development
Students will attend and actively engage in sessions to develop oral and written communication skills
Students will develop a curriculum vitae and develop a written research plan/agenda
Students will develop a current and post-graduate professional plan
Students will learn about time and stress management
