The Department of Physiology and Biophysics and the Sigma Xi Chapter at
Howard
University
will sponsor the 2007 Hawthorne
Lecture on the topic of “The
Narrative Approach to Research Ethics”
on April 25, 2007, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the
Howard University College of Medicine, Seeley G. Mudd Bulding, Room 334.
Speakers will include Cynthia Winston, Ph.D., Department
of Psychology; Segun Gbadegesin, Ph.D., Department of Philosophy; Taft
Broome, ScD, Department of Civil Engineering,
all of whom are PIs on the grant to the
Howard
University
Graduate
School
from the National Science Foundation titled "Narrative Ethics for
Graduate Students in Science and Engineering." A
reception will follow the lecture.
