The University
Community is invited to hear Dra.
Hilda Romero-Zepeda, Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (www.uaq.mx),
during a visit to Howard University on Monday, April 23, 2007, from
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Carnegie Building, First Floor Conference
Room A. She will discuss the universities in Mexico that are
partnering with Howard University in a nine-university consortium in
Canada, the US and Mexico to carry out a four-year, North American
Mobility program on "Ethics and Public Policy in the Sciences."
The other participating universities in Mexico are Universidad
Anáhuac (www.anahuac.mx)
and Universidad Autónoma Popular del Estado de Puebla (www.upaep.mx).
Howard
graduate students may participate in this exchange in either Mexico
or Canada, and Howard will receive students from both countries.
