This mini symposium will showcase the Summer Bridge participants as they present the data from their summer research with faculty mentors at Howard University. Topics include:

 “Preparation and Characterization of Organic Ligands Utilizes for the Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Precursors,” Felicia McClary; Research Advisor: Dr. J. Matthews, Department of Chemistry

“The Efficacy of Synthetic Steroids to Inhibit Hormonal Receptors,” Malik Lewis; Advisor: Dr. O. Bakare, Department of Chemistry

“Exploring the Last Frontier: Structural and Functional Studies of the Brain,” Robert Lewis; Research Advisor: Dr. T. Heinbockel, Department of Anatomy
