The Graduate School has scheduled its annual Graduate Research Day for Monday, April 23, 2007, 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Blackburn Center.   This year’s Research Day will include the oral and poster presentations of graduate and undergraduate students. 

Dr. Brian P. Coppola, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Chemistry, Associate Chair of the Chemistry Department at The University of Michigan, will be the luncheon keynote speaker.  Dr. Coppola is also a Faculty Associate at the University of Michigan Center for Research on Teaching and Learning. Research Day will also feature an awards ceremony in which awards will be given for the best oral and poster presentations.

Abstracts and applications are due by close of business on Friday, March 30, 2007 and will be acceptable either on-line or in person.  Completed on-line applications and abstracts should be emailed to Dr. William Eckberg, weckberg@howard.edu. Hard copies of applications and abstracts, along with disks should be submitted to Constance Minor, 202-806-6155; c_minor@howard.edu, Graduate School, Annex III, Room 100.
