Howard University graduated its largest Ph.D. class since the Graduate School began awarding the doctoral degree in 1958.  Ninety-six Ph.D. degree recipients in the divisions of arts and humanities, biological and life sciences, engineering and physical sciences, and social sciences graduated at the Howard University Commencement Ceremony on May 12, 2007.  Approximately 129 master’s degree recipients received their degrees.  

The Graduate School held its Annual Hood Presentation Ceremony on May 10, 2007. DVDs of the ceremony will be available.
