The Institute for Humane Studies is sponsoring an Academic Writing Competition for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.  The topic is “What factors lead to prosperity, progress, and human flourishing?”  Graduate students may submit published or unpublished work on the topic.  Finalists may present their research at the 2008 Change Workshop.  Prizes are 1
st Place:  $1,000, 2nd Place:  $500, and 3rd Place:  $250.  The deadline is January 31, 2008.  For more information, contact www.TheIHS.org/essays.
