Tuition Scholarships:
Provided by university funds, gifts, endowments, and public and private sources, cover the cost of tuition and are available to full-time graduate students who are in good academic standing and making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
Graduate students interested in University-sponsored assistantships, fellowships and scholarships are encouraged to apply by February 1 in order to receive maximum consideration. Specific details about graduate assistantships can be found in Regulations for Graduate Assistantships published by the Graduate School. Students are encouraged to apply for such fellowships as the National Science Foundation Fellowship, the Woodrow Wilson Foundation Fellowship, the Jacob Javits Fellowship, the Fulbright Fellowship, the Howard Hughes Fellowship, and other fellowships from sources external to the University. Guidelines and application deadlines vary by fellowship program.
