PRESENTER'S BIO: Dr. Wendy Carter and the ABD Solution Company team have one goal - to help as many students as possible identify the path of least resistance to completing their thesis or dissertation. This vision was the result of years of extensive research, coupled with Dr. Carter's own practical, step-by-step, hands-on guidance. Her experience is based on earning her four post-graduate degrees, feedback from hundreds of workshop attendees, and a process of coaching students to completion. The result is now available as the TA-DA!™ CD-ROM Resource Tool, TA-DA! Methods Journal and monthly online newsletter support.
Dr. Carter has obtained masters degrees from Stanford University and Carnegie Mellon University , and both an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An accomplished writer and speaker, Dr. Carter's work has been published in textbooks, technical reports and working papers. She has presented multiple times at the American Sociological Association and Population Association, National Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (NSBE), Annual Biomedical Conference for Minority Students (ABCMS) conferences, as well as many others.
