The University of New Mexico offers masters degree in Anthropology; Economics; History; Language, Literacy and Sociocultural Studies; Latin American Studies; Political Science and Sociology which all offer coursework relevant to the REMS project.
In addition to the disciplinary degrees noted above, coursework in the following areas will also be available for exchange students in the REMS project: Law, Latin American Studies, Native American Studies, and Southwest Studies.

Format of the Academic Year: The UNM academic year calendar is structured in two 16-week semesters: Fall (mid-August to mid-December) and Spring (mid-January to early mid-May). Courses may also be completed in summer sessions (early June through late July).
